I am excited to be offering a new chair yoga class at Island Fitness!
Yoga is for everyone, and this gentle and fun class makes yoga accessible to those who have challenges with mobility, balance, or getting up and down from the floor. This class is ideal for anyone, of any age, who feels more comfortable having a chair for support.
Through working with breath, joyful movement and mindfulness, chair yoga participants still receive all the wonderful benefits of yoga: increased flexibility and range of motion, strength and confidence, calm and balance for the nervous system, and increased well-being.
